Knit and crochet projects are very popular right now because the
projects are portable and can be worked on anywhere. If you have
to cart your kids to the soccer field and doctors appointments,
then you know how much quicker time goes by.... when you have
your handy knitting projects to work on....as you wait. Also, there
are hundreds of types of yarns in thousands of colors and textures.
The opportunity to create something beautiful and functional is
quite the challenge. In this case, Maria created a simple deck chair.
The project is designed so that even the beginner knitter can
create functional art. You can find the directions on the
www.diynetwork.com web site. Just do a search under the name
"Maria Del Pinto". The stitches used in this project are just the
traditional knit and pearl. Happy Knitting!
